New in Billing+: P.O.S., Inventory, Payment links, and Automatic reminders

Facturation +

Billing Plus started as a way to make an invoice in ten seconds. It still is. But a lot has landed since then, and if you last opened the app a few months ago, you’re missing most of it. Billing+ now runs your counter, counts your stock, chases your unpaid invoices for you, and takes payment through seven gateways. Here’s everything new, what it does, and what it costs.

Point of Sale: Your Phone is the Counter

You have a shop, a stall, a salon chair, a table at a weekend market. Someone walks up with an item. Until now, that sale lived in your head until you wrote it down later: if you actually wrote it down.

P.O.S. turns your phone into a till. Scan a barcode or tap the product to add it to the cart. Payment can be made by cash, card, transfer, mobile money, or QR. The receipt generates itself, and your stock drops by one.

Two details that matter on a busy day:

  • Hold a sale. A customer is still deciding while three people wait behind him. Park the sale, serve the queue, come back to it.
  • Print if you want paper. Billing+ prints to 58mm and 80mm thermal receipt printers, so the customer who wants a paper receipt gets one.

Inventory: Never Run Out; Always Know Your Margin

Your product catalogue is your inventory. No second list, no re-entering the same forty items in another app.

Stock levels update in real time as you sell at the counter and on invoices for products with Track switched on when you add them. Turn Track on for the things you actually count. Leave it off for services.

What you get once it’s on:

  • Low-stock alerts and reorder points, so you find out before the shelf is empty and not after.
  • Cost prices, so you know your margin on every single sale, not just your turnover.
  • Barcode scanning with multi-frame accuracy, and batch import a hundred products takes minutes, not the entire day
  • Restocking from expenses: log the supplies you bought as an expense and your stock can go back up automatically

Worth knowing: Your product catalogue stays free, on every plan. But the live stock layer the counting, the alerts, the margins all that sits in Premium.

Payment links: Send it, they view it, they pay

The oldest problem in small business is not creating the invoice. It’s the gap between sending it and receiving the payments.

Generate a payment link on any invoice and share it on the platform your client messages on. It could be WhatsApp, email, or Instagram DM. No website needed. They can pay using bank transfer, card, mobile money or QR, and the money settles straight into your own gateway account. Billing+ never sits in the middle of your money.

Billing+ supports seven gateways including Paystack, Flutterwave, Monnify, OPay, Stripe, GoCardless and PayPal. So the client in Warri and the client in Toronto both get a way to pay with a method that feels normal to them.

One link. Seven ways for them to pay.

Automated Payment Reminders: Stop Being the Bad Guy

Nobody enjoys sending the third “just following up on this” message. It’s awkward, it’s tiring, and most people quietly give up around message two, which is exactly how invoices go unpaid.

Billing+ now does the following up. It emails your client before the due date, on the due date, and after it, in a message you write yourself. Preview it, send a test to your own inbox, then leave it alone and let it run.

You stay the professional who sent one polite invoice. The app handles the nagging.

Record a Payment: Your Books Match Your Bank

Plenty of clients still pay the way they’ve always paid: cash in hand, or a transfer straight to your account. That money is real, but if it never gets logged, your invoice list says one thing and your bank statement says another.

Record a payment log for money you received outside the app against the invoice it belongs to.

Part payments are the point of it. A client pays half now, and half on delivery; log the deposit today, log the balance when it lands. Each part payment generates a receipt and saves it to the invoice; send it to the client with a tap, or leave it sitting there until they ask. Once the invoice is settled in full, Billing+ generates the full receipt.

One thing to know: reminders keep running while a balance is still owed, so a part payment won’t switch them off. Log the final payment, and they stop.

Send an Invoice Straight to Email

If your client has an email address saved, sending is now one button. No downloading a PDF, no switching to your mail app, no hunting for the attachment on your phone. Tap send, and the invoice is in their inbox.

Everything else still works the way it did: send by text, WhatsApp, or Instagram, whichever your client actually replies on.

What else landed quietly

  • A real mini-CRM. Every client now has their own financial picture: what they’ve been billed, what they’ve paid, an activity timeline, your private notes, and a ranking of your top clients. You’ll probably be surprised who’s actually number one.
  • Expenses that log themselves. Take a photo of a receipt, and AI does the typing. Recurring expenses fire on a schedule, and categories are suggested as you type.
  • Factures récurrentes for the clients you bill the same amount every month.

What’s Free and What’s Premium?

Free foreverPrime
One business, unlimited invoices, unlimited receipts, unlimited products and services, unlimited expenses, multi-currency, business analytics, the default templateEverything in Free, plus P.O.S., inventory management, payment links, payment reminders, recurring invoices, unlimited businesses, template selector and colours, and whitelabel invoices

Premium is $10 a month, or $99 a year if you’d rather pay once and forget it. No card needed to start on Free, and nothing you’ve already created goes away.

If you’re working out what to charge, what to set aside, or what your margins really look like once tax is in the picture, our Nigeria tax calculator gives you an estimate in a few seconds. It’s an estimation tool, not a filing tool; talk to your accountant about your own situation.

How do I turn all this on?

Update the app, open your business, and it’s there. If you’re on Free, upgrade from inside the app, and P.O.S., inventory, payment links, and reminders switch on immediately. Payment links need one extra step: connect your gateway account once, and every invoice after that gets a pay button.

Run your business with clarity, not chaos

Invoices, receipts, expenses, stock, and the counter in one app, on the phone that’s already in your pocket.
