Refund Policy
Last updated: 1 September 20261. What this covers
This policy explains when we refund payments for Billing Plus paid plans, and how to ask for one.
It forms part of your agreement with us, alongside the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. Billing Plus is a product of Carburant Technologies Limited, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.
There's a free plan, so you can try Billing Plus properly before you pay anything.
2. Where you paid matters
Before anything else, check how you subscribed. It decides who handles the refund.
| Where you subscribed | Who handles refunds |
|---|---|
| Inside the iOS app | Apple. Request through reportaproblem.apple.com or your Apple ID settings. Apple's refund rules apply. |
| Inside the Android app | Google. Request through Google Play. Google's refund rules apply. |
| On getbilling.co, where available | Us. This policy applies. |
We can't refund a payment we didn't receive. If Apple or Google processed your subscription, the money went to them, and only they can return it. We'll gladly help you work out which applies — email us and we'll point you the right way.
3. Our refund window
For subscriptions paid directly to us:
- You can request a refund within 14 days of the payment.
- This applies to your first payment on a plan and to each renewal.
- Approved refunds return the full amount paid for that period.
There's no catch and no pro-rating inside the window. If Billing Plus isn't working for you, tell us within 14 days and you get your money back.
4. What we don't refund
- Payments requested more than 14 days after the charge, except as set out in section 5.
- Unused time on a subscription you've cancelled part way through a period. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the period ends.
- Payments where the account has breached our Terms of Use.
- Fees charged by a payment provider to you or your customers on payment links. Those aren't ours, and we can't return them.
5. If something is broken
If a technical problem stops you using the App and we can't fix it in reasonable time, we'll refund you — whether or not the 14 days have passed. Tell us what's happening before asking for the refund, so we get a chance to sort it out. Most things are fixable quickly.
6. How to ask
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request", and include:
- the email address on your account
- proof of purchase — transaction ID, invoice number or receipt
- a sentence on why
We'll respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 7–10 business days, though your bank or provider may take longer.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under the law where you live.
If you're a consumer in the EU, the UK or another country with a statutory cooling-off period, you have a right to withdraw from a distance contract — usually within 14 days. Our own window is designed to match that, so in most cases you won't need to rely on it. Where your statutory right gives you more than this policy does, your statutory right applies.
If you're unsure whether this applies to you, ask us and we'll look at it properly rather than pointing at the policy.
8. Cancelling
You can cancel any time:
- iOS — Apple ID settings → Subscriptions
- Android — Google Play → Subscriptions
- Web — your account settings
Cancelling prevents future charges. Your paid features stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and your account then reverts to the free plan. Your data stays with you.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published when you paid. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
